ADAS Resets

As technology is becoming more and more advanced, we here at Jenkins & Pain are making sure we’re keeping up with it too, such as offering ADAS resets. More vehicles are being built with intelligent driver assist systems including the use of rear view cameras to help with parking, to more complex systems like Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB).

Driver assistance systems rely on a combination of cameras and sensors to work as intended, meaning they need to stay up to date as much as possible, and fitted accurately in the right place. If done incorrectly, this could have a serious impact on the functionality of your ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance), which may result in an accident on the road.

At Jenkins & Pain, we offer an ADAS resets with every vehicle repair when it is required and this helps ensure your vehicle stays safe on the road.

Thatcham Research in association with Euro NCAP has started to evaluate the ADAS systems as well as incorporating the safety functions performance within the Euro NCAP ratings for new vehicles. Features such as autonomous emergency braking (AEB) have been proven to reduce the number of accidents and collisions and has been likened to the benefits brought about by ABS ‘Anti-lock Braking Systems’ and even the humble seatbelt.

For more information on ADAS resets we have all you need to know on our FAQ page.

Courtesy Vehicles

We are able to provide our customers with Courtesy Vehicles while larger repairs are carried out. On site we have a fleet of light commercial vehicles and small hatchbacks (subject to availability). Our team will discuss courtesy vehicle hire with you and help you complete any necessary paperwork. You will need to hold a full UK driving license and return any vehicles in the same condition.
